31 DOE/DOQ (+$1.00/hour Anacortes location differential) The best leaders don't always have the loudest voices. They're the ones who notice when a teammate needs encouragement, step in when plans suddenly change, remain calm when challenges arise, and help others find confidence. They understand that when employees feel supported, children thrive. BoysGirls Clubs of Skagit County is looking for an Assistant Club Director to help lead our licensed preschool program at the Anacortes Family Center. Working alongside the Club Director, you'll help create a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive, families feel welcome, and employees have the support they need to succeed. This is a hands-on leadership position. One moment you may be coaching a teacher, the next assisting with program operations, supporting licensing requirements, helping a family, or stepping into a classroom when needed. Every day is different, so we're looking for someone who is resilient, adaptable, and able to shift priorities without losing sight of what matters most. Preschool is full of surprises. We're looking for someone who can pivot when needed, encourage others through challenges, and bring resilience, optimism, and a steady presence to each day. This role isn't about having all the answers. It's about listening, leading with compassion, supporting your team, and helping children, families, and employees grow together. This position requires Washington State Center Director qualifications, including qualifying Early Childhood Education coursework and experience in a licensed early learning program. Please review the full job description for complete qualifications and requirements before applying. If you're ready to make a difference by supporting both children and the people who care for them every day, we'd love to hear from you.
