Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Child Care Center Director to lead our early childhood education program with enthusiasm and strategic vision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, foster a nurturing environment for children, and ensure the delivery of high-quality educational experiences. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and promote the growth and development of young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of early childhood education while managing administrative responsibilities with energy and purpose. Cooks Hill Childcare Center is an 8 classroom center for ages 8 weeks through 12 years and is a part of the parent organization, Cooks Hill Community Church. Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to staff, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports children's developmental needs. Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that promote learning through play, exploration, and creativity. Manage the center's budget, oversee financial planning, and ensure resources are allocated effectively to support program goals. Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to maintain a high-performing team. Build strong relationships with families by communicating regularly about children's progress and center activities. Coordinate fundraising efforts and community outreach programs to secure additional resources and increase program visibility. Skills Proven experience in classroom teaching and working directly with young children in early childhood settings. Strong background in curriculum development tailored to various developmental stages. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams and supervising staff effectively. Expertise in education administration, including budgeting, strategic planning, and program evaluation. Excellent public speaking abilities for engaging presentations to families, staff, and community partners. Skilled in fundraising activities to support program growth and sustainability. Effective management skills with a focus on supervision, organizational efficiency, and compliance with licensing standards.
