Regional Director - Childcare Operations Location Seattle, WA 98103 Date Posted May 28, 2026 Job ID 14681 Employment Type Direct Hire Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Regional Director - Childcare Operations on behalf of a growing early childhood education organization supporting multiple academy locations throughout the Greater Seattle market. This is an exciting direct-hire leadership opportunity for an operationally driven professional passionate about team leadership, educational excellence, and multi-site performance management.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This high-impact leadership role is responsible for overseeing operations across multiple childcare and early education academy locations throughout the Seattle region. The Regional Director will serve as a strategic and hands-on operational leader focused on enrollment growth, staffing optimization, licensing compliance, team development, and overall site performance. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership and Center Directors to drive operational consistency, employee engagement, and exceptional family experiences across all locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee daily operations across multiple childcare and early education academy locations Lead, coach, and mentor Center Directors and regional operational teams Monitor and improve enrollment, staffing, retention, compliance, and operational performance metrics Ensure licensing compliance and adherence to all operational and regulatory standards Partner with leadership on strategic growth initiatives and operational best practices Support hiring, training, employee engagement, and performance development efforts Conduct regular site visits and operational assessments across academy locations Analyze reporting, budgeting, and operational KPIs to drive continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of progressive multi-site leadership experience within childcare, preschool, education, franchise, healthcare, retail, or service-based environments Strong operational leadership and people management experience Experience overseeing multiple locations, managers, or regional teams Proven success driving operational performance, staffing, enrollment, and compliance initiatives Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and organizational skills Ability to travel regularly throughout the Greater Seattle market Experience with childcare management systems, staffing systems, enrollment systems, or operational reporting tools preferred
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This opportunity offers a competitive anticipated salary range of approximately $130,000-$135,000 DOE, along with the opportunity to join a growing organization with long-term leadership potential. Additional benefits and organizational offerings will be discussed during the interview process.
