Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant, faith-based, early childhood education team as an Experienced Pre-K Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire a love of learning and foster developmental growth in preschool children. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that promote curiosity, social-emotional skills, and foundational literacy and math skills. Your expertise will help shape a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and confidence. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education in a play-based enviornment. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's social-emotional well-being. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive development, fine and gross motor skills, and early intervention strategies for diverse learning needs. Manage classroom routines effectively to ensure smooth transitions, structured lesson delivery, and individualized attention for students with special education requirements. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support children's welfare through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences. Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain discipline while encouraging independence and respectful interactions among students. Requirements Proven classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in early childhood education settings or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management best practices. Experience with curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and special education accommodations. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families in their children's learning journey. Certification or credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching; experience with private school settings is advantageous.
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
