Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Daycare Worker, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a nurturing environment for young children to learn, grow, and thrive! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing attentive care, fostering positive development, and ensuring a safe and engaging space for children of various ages. Your energy and compassion will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and happiness in our early childhood education setting. Duties Supervise and engage children during play, learning activities, meals, nap times, and outdoor time to promote development and safety Implement age-appropriate educational activities that support childhood development milestones in areas such as social skills, motor skills, and cognitive growth Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment by following health and safety protocols at all times Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behaviors, and daily needs Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic infant or toddler care as needed to ensure comfort and well-being Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention in collaboration with specialists when applicable Skills Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Ability to perform first aid and CPR to respond swiftly in emergencies Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children effectively Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners Join us in making a meaningful impact on children's lives!
