- Licensed Child Care Center Gracie's Adventure Club is seeking dependable, caring, and experienced Child Care Teachers to join our team.
We are currently hiring full-time staff who are passionate about working with children and creating a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment. Position Overview The Child Care Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality care, supervision, and learning experiences for children in a licensed child care setting. Teachers may work with various age groups based on experience, qualifications, enrollment, and center needs. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children preferred (licensed child care experience preferred) Ability to meet and maintain Alabama DHR requirements Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate behavior guidance Strong communication and classroom management skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Ability to work a full-time schedule within center operating hours Responsibilities Provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care for children Implement daily routines and developmentally appropriate activities Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Guide behavior using positive and age-appropriate strategies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Ensure compliance with Alabama DHR regulations and center policies Communicate effectively with families and leadership Work collaboratively with team members to support overall program success Assist in other classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and support center operations Schedule Full-time position Scheduled within operating hours of 6:00 a.m.
