Full Job Description Job Overview:

Primary Hours of Need:

AM Shift:

Monday

• Friday 8:00am
• 11:00am (1 position available)

PM Shift:

Monday

• Thursday 4:00pm
• 8:00pm & Saturday Rotation (8:00am
• 12:00pm) (2 positions coming available
• they start late May) These positions ARE NOT Summer-time only positions
• they are long-term Helena Health Club is looking for qualified individuals to be part of our amazing Kidz Club team!

The employees are responsible for the care and supervision of babies and children (from newborn to 11 years) in a small childcare setting. Our mission is to make sure our children are safe and have fun for the time they are with us at the club.

Examples of Essential Functions:

Be constantly alert. Enthusiastic and engaging with the children and parents. Dependable and reliable with time and responsibilities. Capable of taking care of, talking to, listening, watching, and interacting with various age groups of children for various periods of time. Greet children and parents when they arrive and leave. Assist children and babies with daily tasks. Organize and initiate activities. Monitor and control behavior of the children. Maintain patience and energy throughout shift. Ability to communicate effectively with parents/members, co-workers, management, and children. Daily cleaning at the end of each shift. Organize, store, and sanitize all play equipment, daily.

Experience:

• Prior experience working with children, preferably a childcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Some experience working with children of varying ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Expected Hours:

• Monday through

Friday:

8:00am

• 11:00am (AM Shift)
• Monday through

Thursday:

4:00pm

• 8:00pm (PM Shift)

• Saturday Rotation:

  8:00am
• 12:00pm We will consider applicants with limited to no experience in our particular setting, so long as they have had babysitting experience.
