As a vital team member, you will provide flexible, nurturing support across multiple classrooms, ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive environment for children of various ages from 10:00AM-5:30PM Your energetic approach and adaptability will help maintain seamless daily operations, support classroom activities, and promote optimal development for every child. Responsibilities Assist in supervising children during play, learning activities, meals, and nap times across different classrooms as needed. Support teachers with classroom management, behavior guidance, and implementing developmental activities aligned with early childhood education principles. Ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to all health and safety policies, including first aid procedures when necessary. Provide attentive care for toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as required. Collaborate with staff to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming childcare setting that meets licensing standards. Be flexible to step into various roles within the daycare to support staffing needs during busy periods or staff absences. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices in early childhood education is highly valued. Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies is advantageous. Certification or training in first aid and CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified.
