Job Description

Overview We are adding to our team!! We'd love to see young professionals, moms, anyone interested in entering a long-term employment opportunity working daily with children and peers that, we believe, will become a family. If this is you, give us a call and let's talk about what works for us and you. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives by fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes growth and learning. Candidates with experience in special education, working with children with disabilities, or caregiving backgrounds such as nannying or babysitting are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging daily activities that support early childhood development and learning objectives. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and well-being. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Monitor and assess each child's progress, behavior, and individual needs to tailor activities accordingly. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including first aid procedures and health protocols. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing appropriate care when necessary. Assist in the development of lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children. Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes safety, learning, and emotional well-being. Flexibility to adapt to the diverse needs of young children across different age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Passion for early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
