Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a dedicated Daycare Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and confidence. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children in our care, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your expertise in early childhood education and classroom management will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and success. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence among children. Manage daily classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring smooth transitions and engaging lesson planning tailored to each child's developmental stage. Support children with special educational needs through early intervention strategies and individualized attention. Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any developmental or behavioral concerns. Maintain accurate records of children's development milestones, attendance, and assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, including classroom management and lesson planning. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention methods, and special education practices. Familiarity with curriculum development techniques such as Montessori or other early childhood education frameworks. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that support positive social interactions. Experience in childcare environments that emphasize toddler care, preschool activities, and literacy education. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
