In this vital role, you will step into classroom environments to provide engaging, nurturing, and safe care for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Your energetic yet calming presence will support continuity in learning and development, ensuring every child's needs are met with tender loving care and professionalism while the primary teacher is away for the day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while working only the days convenient for your schedule. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities based on the established schedule of activities. Maintain an organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration Follow established curriculum and daily lesson plan. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support a cohesive caregiving experience Assist with daily routines such as snack time, nap time, diapering or potty training, and outdoor play Maintain health and safety protocols and proper hygiene practices Skills Demonstrated experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or babysitting settings Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement Certification or training in first aid and CPR (preferred) but not required Experience teaching preschool Sunday School (preferred) but not required Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families Flexibility to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups This role is perfect for passionate caregivers eager to foster a nurturing, Christ-like environment who desire employment flexibility. Pay:
From $13.00 per hour
