In this vibrant role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment that promotes healthy development and joyful exploration. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and curiosity in our youngest learners. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's growth during their critical early years. Duties Provide attentive, loving care tailored to toddlers aged 12-18 months, supporting their physical, emotional, and social development Design and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity, motor skills, language acquisition, and sensory exploration Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones to inform ongoing care plans Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards at all times Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates, developmental observations, and any concerns Assist with diapering, feeding, nap routines, and other daily caregiving tasks with patience and professionalism Manage classroom routines effectively through strong classroom management skills while fostering positive behavior management strategies Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Demonstrated ability in classroom management and behavior management techniques suitable for young children Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members Passion for early childhood education and caregiving with a proactive approach to safety and well-being Experience in infant care routines such as diapering, feeding, sleep schedules, and sensory activities This role is an excellent opportunity for dedicated caregivers who are eager to foster a nurturing environment where toddlers can thrive.
