Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and early intervention strategies. Provide comprehensive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and supporting developmental milestones in childhood development. Use classroom management techniques to maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning space for preschoolers and toddlers. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about child welfare, progress, and classroom activities. Support special education needs by adapting lessons and activities to accommodate children requiring additional assistance. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor progress and inform lesson planning. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential; classroom experience is highly valued. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and childhood development stages. Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with working with students requiring special education or early intervention services. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification or training in childcare, early childhood education, or related fields is preferred. Ability to work with diverse age groups such as toddlers and preschoolers while maintaining a nurturing environment.
