This position helps teachers maintain a safe, organized, and engaging environment while ensuring children are supported and supervised throughout the afternoon and closing hours. The ideal candidate is flexible, enjoys working with young learners , and can provide extra support wherever it's needed to help classrooms run smoothly. Key Responsibilities Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines . Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment . Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, transitions, and closing routines . Prepare and set up learning materials and classroom activities . Provide additional support in classrooms as needed to ensure a smooth end-of-day process . Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment . Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required . Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferred . Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills . Reliable, flexible, and able to assist in different classroom environments . Patient, supportive, and enthusiastic when working with children. Preferred Skills Experience in a childcare center, preschool, or daycare environment . Understanding of child development and play-based learning . Ability to support teachers and help maintain structured routines . Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of different classrooms .
