  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment.
As a key member of our early childhood education team, you will lead classroom activities, develop innovative curricula, and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a positive foundation for children's lifelong learning journey. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of preschoolers while working in a dynamic, supportive setting. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, early childhood education standards, and literacy education strategies. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports childhood development milestones. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster social skills, emotional regulation, physical activity including teaching physical education, and early intervention techniques when needed. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs including special education considerations, and support child welfare initiatives. Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to daycare or preschool policies. Utilize classroom management skills to maintain discipline while encouraging independence and curiosity among students. Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies as appropriate to enhance learning experiences. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development stages, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment is a plus. Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Previous private school experience or toddler care background is advantageous.
