Full-Time About Us The Spot Activity Center is a faith-based children's activity center serving families in the Pike Road area. We are dedicated to providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive through hands-on activities, structured learning, and positive relationships. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and enthusiastic Program Instructor to join our team. This position works primarily with children ages 2-5 and plays an important role in creating meaningful daily experiences that help children build confidence, develop social skills, and prepare for future success. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children ages 2-5 in a safe and nurturing environment Teach and implement our curated curriculum (Experience Curriculum) Lead age-appropriate activities, lessons, games, and learning experiences Prepare and serve morning and afternoon snacks Assist with lunch supervision and administration Perform diaper changes and assist children who are potty training Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment Assist with facility cleaning and daily upkeep as needed Open the facility and prepare classrooms and activity spaces for the day Communicate professionally with parents through the Brightwheel app Record daily activities and information using Brightwheel Follow all safety procedures and center policies Qualifications Previous childcare experience is required and must be verifiable Experience may include daycare, preschool, church nursery, summer camp, babysitting, teaching, or similar work with children Strong communication skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities Comfortable using technology and mobile applications Reliable transportation to and from work is required Ability to lift, carry, and actively engage with young children throughout the day Must successfully pass a background check What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Is dependable and shows up ready to work every day Is organized and able to maintain a structured classroom environment Communicates well with children, parents, and coworkers Has a genuine passion for working with young children Wants to make a positive impact on children's lives Is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a strong team culture Benefits Employee childcare discount Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children Potential opportunities for growth within the organization Additional Information We are currently hiring one full-time Program Instructor.
