Job Description

Join Our Team at Granny's House Daycare! Granny's House Daycare is looking for caring, dependable, and energetic Childcare Teachers to join our growing team. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children to thrive — and we need passionate educators like you to help us make that happen!
Responsibilities:
Provide basic daily care: feeding, grooming, diapering/toileting Supervise and ensure the safety of all children in your care Prepare and serve meals and snacks Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities Foster children's development through stories, games, art, and play Encourage positive behavior and social skills Communicate regularly with parents about progress and concerns Monitor developmental milestones and behavior Work closely with team members and management Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment Follow all Alabama DHR childcare regulations and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (Required) Must be at least 18 years of age 1 year of experience in childcare or early childhood education (Preferred) CDA or CCP certification (Preferred) CPR and First Aid certification (Preferred) Must pass a clear criminal background check Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude
Required Training:
Per Alabama DHR standards, all staff must complete 12 clock hours of training within 30 days of hire in the following areas:
Child Development Health, Safety & Universal Precautions Quality Childcare & Licensing Family and Childcare Professional Relationships Language Development Positive Discipline & Guidance Benefits:
