Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and implementing age-appropriate curricula. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's educational journeys while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Candidates should possess strong classroom management skills, experience with children, and a deep understanding of childhood development principles, including Montessori and literacy education methods. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori and literacy programs. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and engagement. Monitor individual student progress through assessments and standardized testing; adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by collaborating with specialists. Incorporate physical education and hands-on activities to promote overall child welfare and physical development. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, safety protocols, and best practices in childcare and preschool settings. Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral notes to inform ongoing instruction. Experience Prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; private school experience is a plus. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood subjects such as math, literacy, physical education, and social skills. Familiarity with childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable. Knowledge of Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and external specialists. Proven ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and support individual learning styles.
