Tatum Collective - Fayetteville, AR Tatum Collective is seeking a talented, engaging music teacher to lead early childhood and elementary music classes at respected Fayetteville learning centers. This is a part-time position that currently consists of two classes per week, with the opportunity for additional classes as our programs continue to grow in Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas. Who We're Looking For We are looking for more than someone who simply knows music. The right person loves working with children and has the personality to make music come alive for them. You should be warm, charismatic, energetic, entertaining, and comfortable taking command of a classroom. Our students range from early childhood through second grade, so the ability to connect with young children is essential. What You'll Do Lead engaging, age-appropriate music classes for children through second grade Sing and accompany songs on guitar, ukulele, or a similar instrument Teach foundational concepts including rhythm, melody, movement, listening, and musical expression Create a fun, energetic classroom while maintaining positive classroom management Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to teach Represent Tatum Collective professionally at our partner location What We're Looking For A genuine love of working with children A charismatic, expressive, and entertaining teaching presence Proficiency on guitar, ukulele, or a similar accompaniment instrument Strong musicianship and singing ability Ability to confidently lead and engage a classroom of young children Dependability and consistent punctuality Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to successfully complete a DHS background check A degree in music, music education, elementary education, early childhood education, or a related field is preferred but not required. Current college students are encouraged to apply as long as their schedules allow them to consistently teach the assigned classes. Previous teaching experience is helpful, but we are equally interested in musicians and performers who have the right combination of musicianship, personality, reliability, and a natural ability to connect with children. Schedule The position currently consists of two weekly classes. Additional classes may become available as Tatum Collective expands its programs in Northwest Arkansas. Because our partner school depends on us to provide consistent weekly instruction, applicants must be able to commit reliably to the assigned schedule throughout the school term.

Audition / Sample

Class Final candidates will be asked to complete a brief audition or sample class. We want to see your musicianship, personality, classroom presence, and—most importantly—how you engage with young children. We partner with schools and learning centers to bring high-quality arts and enrichment experiences directly to students.
