Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a vibrant early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your dedication to fostering development through innovative lesson planning, classroom management, and personalized care will help lay a strong foundation for each child's future success. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development. Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's social-emotional growth. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and tailor lessons to meet individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Manage daily classroom activities with effective classroom management techniques, ensuring safety, engagement, and learning for toddlers and preschoolers. Collaborate with parents and guardians through clear communication about their child's development, milestones, and welfare. Incorporate early childhood education best practices to foster curiosity, creativity, and independence among students. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, behavior notes, and classroom supplies to ensure organized operations. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare settings or preschool environments is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math instruction, physical activities, and special education accommodations. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood educational philosophies is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Previous involvement in private school or daycare settings will be considered an asset. Proven ability to plan engaging lessons for diverse learners while adhering to safety standards and child welfare policies. $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
