Infant Teacher (Full-Time 8:00am-5:00pm)

We are currently looking for an energetic, outgoing and creative Infant Teacher who is passionate about working with children and teaches in a hands-on way. Our Infant Teacher will be responsible for working closely with the rest of the team to develop and maintain a daily curriculum that meets the individual needs of our students. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young children and will take pride in seeing a student's growth from their first day in class until they graduate from our school. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing excellent lesson plans and living up to our core values as an organization. Our new hire training program is based on data-driven performance management principles tied to employee development.

Responsibilities:

Engage children with highly interactive activities. Be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service to parents and children. Be an effective educator in the area of child development. Know how to engage children in purposeful play. Hold a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field and have completed specific coursework in early childhood education. Have a working knowledge of current research on early childhood education. Have competencies in areas such as health, safety, nutrition, and physical development. Provide children with a wide range of learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate for each age group. Have knowledge about children's literature and music appropriate for each age group. Have experience working with young children and be comfortable in the classroom setting alone.
