In this vital role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and attentive caregiving. Your energy, compassion, and expertise will help lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young children's lives while working in a supportive, dynamic setting. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants. Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times. Observe and document each child's developmental milestones to tailor care plans effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and milestones. Support classroom management by fostering positive behavior and encouraging social interactions among infants. Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support early childhood education standards and individual needs. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility is
REQUIRED.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while providing nurturing care. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally. Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for infants is desirable. Passion for caregiving, teaching, and supporting young children's growth in a safe and loving environment. Pay:
