The ideal candidate builds strong relationships with students and families, creates engaging lessons, and prepares students for future academic success through developmentally appropriate instruction. Responsibilities Create a welcoming, safe, and nurturing classroom environment. Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and learning centers. Foster children's curiosity, creativity, and love of learning. Integrate biblical truths into daily classroom instruction and activities. Assess student growth and readiness for future learning. Maintain a positive classroom culture with effective classroom management. Build trusting partnerships with parents through regular communication. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student success and school initiatives. Participate in school events, professional development, and faculty meetings. Serve as a positive representative of Faith Lutheran School and its mission. Experience Minimum of six (6) months of childcare or preschool teaching experience. Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
