Our main program is the Child Development Center that serves these families with affordable fees and flexible hours. Including but not limited to: 21 years old and up Ability to run, jump, bend, lift (at least 50lbs.), stand, sit on the floor, etc… Full time 35+hrs- Monday through Friday with potentially a rotating Saturday shift Have a valid fingerprint clearance card TB Test Required Prefer an Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or any related field, or Child Development Associate.Note:
Applicants who are not enrolled in school, will be considered if an agreement to attend school for ECE or related field, upon hire. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a birth to 5 year old classroom. CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification. Prefer experience with AZ Learning Standards and Infant Toddler Guidelines for lesson planning and observation purposes. Prefer experience with the Quality First program and ECERS and ITERS Rating scales, to ensure that Quality First guidelines are being followed. Ability to work as part of a team Lead Teacher Job duties and responsibilities including but not limited to: Update Brightwheel (Online Childcare Management Program) on a daily basis. Children's documentation in portfolios and keep parents and administration informed of the development of the children. Conducting bi-annual parent/teacher conferences Attend training year round, completing a minimum of 30 hours per year. Attend mandatory in-service days and staff meetings throughout the year. Lesson planning with developmentally appropriate activities. Ensure that a shopping list for needed materials for monthly lesson plans is turned into Program Director. Monitor and lead classroom activities while encouraging and engaging with children. Making sure that classroom environments are age appropriate. Execute classroom management and supervision Evaluate and work closely with co-teacher (Select classrooms) Teach, guide and assist children with daily routines (diapering, hand washing, eating, etc…) Ensure that all materials, toys, and equipment in the classroom are safe and free of hazards; while maintaining their cleanliness. Require a minimum of 6 months experience. Work on curriculum requirements such as language, art, music, social, emotional, and motor skill development projects. Manage children's portfolios. Addressed parents About positive/negative behaviors, and cooperative advancement plans for children. Displayed time management in following the designated schedule provided by the company and specified for classroom. Accepted challenging issues when interacting with children, parents and care givers of all backgrounds. Work/train Assistant Teacher.
