Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and incident reports. Incorporate Montessori or other specialized teaching methods to enhance learning experiences where applicable. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor lesson plans accordingly. Requirements Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of child development instruction, childhood welfare, and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in early intervention or special education is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Classroom experience with toddler care, preschool teaching, or Montessori methods preferred. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
