Job Description

Join Our Amazing Team! Fuzzy Caterpillar Preschool is a private, play-based preschool located in Alameda, and we are looking for an exceptional Preschool Teacher to join our team! At Fuzzy Caterpillar, we believe children learn best through play, exploration, creativity, and meaningful relationships. We are looking for a teacher who shares these values and enjoys being an active participant in children's learning and discovery.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have completed at minimum, 12 units in Early Childhood Education, including:
  • Child Growth and Development
  • Child, Family and Community
  • Early Childhood Curriculum We are looking for a teacher who is experienced, passionate, motivated, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
Our ideal candidate understands the importance of building strong relationships with children and families and is committed to creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Supervising and engaging with children in a safe and nurturing environment
  • Using knowledge of child development to enrich children's daily experiences
  • Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activities
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
  • Collaborating with a team of dedicated and supportive teachers
  • Maintaining a positive and professional classroom environment
