Job Description
Overview The Farm School is a 20 acre ranch that operates as a parent participation preschool program. Classes for 2-6 year olds are held in our barnyard on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30am with additional hours allocated to lesson planning, set up, and clean up. Approx 8 hours per week. Possibility for increased hours for the right fit. Responsibilities Lead circle time Provide themed sensory, crafting, and educational activities with a agriculture theme (Tractors, gardening, cows etc) Lead nature walks around the farm Facilitate interactions between children and animals (pony, goats, chickens, ducks, etc) Help students with basic animal care duties Lesson planning Communicate with families Requirements Degree/Early childhood Ed credits NOT required Enjoy working with children and building community Love animals Love being outdoors Experience in agriculture a bonus Positive attitude Join us in making a difference in the lives of young learners by providing them with the foundational skills they need for lifelong success!
