Overview Join our vibrant Early Learning Center team as an Early Learning Center Specialist, where your passion for nurturing young children and fostering their development will make a lasting impact. In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational environment that promotes growth for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Your dedication will support families and contribute to the foundation of lifelong learning skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative setting dedicated to early childhood education and child development. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and individual needs of children Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain accurate records of children's developmental progress, attendance, and daily activities Support classroom management by organizing materials, managing transitions, and fostering positive behavior Collaborate with team members to plan special events, developmental assessments, and parent meetings Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices High Scope and PITC curriculum. Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid preferred) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Classroom management skills to create a nurturing and structured learning environment Ability to work with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children across various developmental stages Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated commitment to child supervision, babysitting experience considered an asset Join us in shaping the future by providing compassionate care and innovative early learning experiences. Pay:
$34.20 - $48.20 per hour
