Job Description

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Teacher for Barstow STEM Academy to inspire young learners through engaging, hands-on instruction. In this role, you will design and lead developmentally appropriate STEM-focused activities that spark curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. You'll create a safe, inclusive classroom, support social-emotional growth, and partner closely with families and colleagues. Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate, hands-on STEM lessons aligned with Kinder Care and school standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for diverse learners. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to support individual learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child's academic and social-emotional growth. Manage classroom routines, behavior, and materials to ensure an organized learning space. Incorporate play-based and inquiry-driven activities to build curiosity and problem-solving skills. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and classroom activities. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by Kinder Care and school policies.
