The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive learning experience. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Provide individualized support to students, addressing their unique learning needs. Foster strong relationships with students through engaging activities and open communication. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Skills Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children. Strong behavior management skills to maintain classroom discipline and promote positive interactions. Experience working with students in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children with developmental delays or special needs. Familiarity with toddler care practices and age-specific developmental milestones. Ability to implement effective classroom management techniques to foster an engaging learning environment. Experience in private school settings is a plus, along with knowledge of standardized testing practices applicable to early education. 12 ECE minimum units plus Infant/Toddler class Join our team as we inspire the next generation of learners!
