Job Description
KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Clayton KinderCare on Main St location. In this role, you will create a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, engaged, and excited to learn. You'll design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Teachers partner closely with families, providing regular communication about each child's progress and needs. You will follow all health, safety, and licensing standards while collaborating with a supportive team committed to high-quality early childhood education and continuous professional growth. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with Kinder Care's curriculum. Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment for young children. Supervise children at all times, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and licensing standards. Observe and document children's progress, communicating regularly with families. Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members. Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured and play-based learning. Maintain a clean, organized classroom and learning materials. Participate in training, professional development, and team meetings. Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities and share best practices. Follow all Kinder Care policies and state childcare regulations.
