Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant/Toddler Teacher and make a meaningful impact on the youngest learners' development! Larson's Infant Center has an amazing reputation for providing the highest quality of childcare for over 60 years! In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging environment tailored to infants and toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. This paid, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where your skills in curriculum development, classroom management, and child welfare are valued and celebrated. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence for infants and toddlers. Manage daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities with patience and professionalism. Apply behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and emotional regulation among young children. Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum that integrates educational philosophies suited for early learners. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development. Maintain accurate records of classroom activities
Minimum Requirements:
  • 12 ECE units of
Early Childhood Education:
1. Child Devlopment 2.Child Development Community and Family 3. Preschool Curriculum or Principles and Practices 4. Any other E.C.E core units In addition, 3 units of any Infant/Toddler course
  • Larson's Infant Center is required to run a criminal background check
