Job Description

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Bruceville KinderCare center in Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing classroom where young children learn through play-based, developmentally appropriate activities. You will design engaging lesson plans, support social-emotional growth, and build strong partnerships with families. Working within KinderCare's inclusive, collaborative culture, you'll receive training, growth opportunities, and the chance to make a lasting impact on children's lives every day. Responsibilities Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Supervise children and support their social, emotional, and cognitive development Communicate regularly with families about child progress and daily activities Observe, document, and assess children's developmental milestones Collaborate with center staff to support center-wide programs and events Follow all state licensing and Kinder Care policies and procedures Participate in ongoing training and professional development Required Skills Early childhood education Classroom management Lesson planning Child development knowledge Child safety and supervision Parent communication Behavior management Assessment and documentation Curriculum implementation Basic computer skills
