In this vital role, you will oversee classroom operations, develop engaging curriculum, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes holistic development for young learners. Your leadership will inspire both children and staff to achieve their full potential while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating educational setting. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment for preschool children. Design and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, promoting respect, cooperation, and independence among students. Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on lesson planning, classroom management, and child welfare best practices. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, developmental milestones, and address individual needs or concerns. Incorporate specialized approaches such as Montessori methods or early intervention techniques to support diverse learning styles and developmental requirements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and licensing requirements related to childcare and preschool operations. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor student progress and inform instructional adjustments. Organize extracurricular activities including physical education and tutoring sessions that enhance overall child development. Maintain detailed records of student attendance, progress reports, and classroom activities to support ongoing evaluation and reporting. Experience Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings, preferably within private or daycare environments. Demonstrated classroom management skills with a strong ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere. Background in curriculum development with knowledge of literacy education, math instruction, and childhood development principles. Experience in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable to support diverse learner needs. Prior leadership or supervisory roles as a preschool teacher or head teacher are preferred to effectively guide staff teams. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
