Overview:
3 job position schedules available. These work schedules can be part-time during the summer and will be offered as full time in the fall.
Set work schedule:
Job position 1 schedule : Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays Monday and Wednesdays 7:45 am
- 5:15 pm, 1 hour lunch. Fridays, 7:45 am
- 1:00pm (some Friday afternoons) Job postition 2 schedule: Tuesdays 7:45 am
- 5:15 pm Thursdays 7:45 am
- 5:15 pm Fridays 1:00 pm
- 5:15 pm (some Friday morninga) Also, available to substitute occasionally on other weekdays.
Job position 3 schedule : Full-time position available June 2026 Monday-Friday 7:45-4:45 pm 1 hour lunch We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate childcare teacher to join our amazing team. As a childcare teacher you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. As well as performing cleaning and cooking duties. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with diaper changes and potty training
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and meet the children's needs
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
Skills:
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants and preschoolers
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- Understanding of behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with special education needs is a plus
Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- preferred but not required previous experience in childcare or child-related field is preferred
