Job Description
Lotus Child Montessori is looking to add to our amazing teaching team this fall. Position could be full or part time depending on the right fit. Lotus Child Montessori is a high quality Montessori early childhood school located in Fair Oaks. Lotus Child is operated under the philosophy that children are born peaceful in nature and are the key to a more peaceful society. The children served by Lotus Child Montessori are surrounded with experiences that foster order, coordination, concentration, independence, self-awareness and peaceful being. The atmosphere and teaching style at Lotus Child Montessori models compassion for others while encouraging independence, constructive problem solving, positive self -esteem and improved self worth. All applicants must be able to pass a live scan background check, a health physical, have a clear TB test, a minimum of 12 units of Early Childhood Education Units, at least three year experience working or interning in an early childhood educational setting and willingness to uphold the principals of the Montessori philosophy. Montessori Certification is a must for a lead teacher position. 0-3 or 3-6 Montessori certification from a reputable training center. Lotus Child Montessori prides itself on providing a high quality work environment we offer flexible schedules, paid vacation and sick time, paid lunch breaks, daily prep time away from students, tuition discounts. We are looking for a new lead teacher to start mid to late August during our staff development and orientation weeks. This position could be tailored for the right person to be as little as 20 hours a week mornings to 32 hours a week (full days).
