(AA degree w/ 36ECE Units and two units adult supervision) Ability to commute/relocate:Fairfield, CA:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) AA degree (or equivalent ECE units ) in Child Development, Early Childhood Education Minimum 3-5 years' experience working at Infant -Preschool center Prior supervisory experience is a must At least been a director for 3 yrs minimum Current pediatric CPR/First Aid certification Creative, flexible, organized, and able to prioritize with superior time management skills to meet deadlines Excellent communication and people skills to interact with staff, children, and families Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Child Care Software applications Responsibilities include: Oversee the center to ensure quality and compliant services and outcomes. Implement and maintain State licensing regulations for the Center; and participate in audits as necessary. Act as the designated contact for licensing announced and unannounced visits and any corrective actions as necessary. Hire, supervise, train, and monitor teaching staff on site to ensure quality teaching and appropriate child interactions. Handle enrollment tours and be available to clients and teachers when needed Ensure all children are developmentally assessed and that an educational plan is developed and implemented with an age-appropriate curriculum that meets the individual needs of the children enrolled. Ensure the center, rooms, and play areas are well maintained in a clean, orderly, healthy, and safe condition at all times. Monitors and expedites any work orders for the center, rooms, and play areas as needed. Maintains appropriate staff level to ensure teacher-to-child ratios are met in accordance with licensing regulations and safety standards. Participate in classrooms as needed to sub and provide breaks or coverage needs. Conduct parent/teacher conferences and provide information to parents concerning their children's development, abilities, and areas of concern; explains program procedures and classroom activities as requested.Job Type:
