Job Description
BusyKids is searching for an energetic team member to join us in our Folsom location. As an enrichment leader you will be trained to help with general errands, and organization, and leading daily workshop activities for children. Our ideal enrichment leader has a college degree and their own transportation. We are looking for someone who works efficiently. This person must have a peaceful approach with children, must be soft, kind, patient, and bring magic to every interaction with a child at BusyKids. Advancement and long term career options will be available. BusyKids is play based process learning. We pull in some traditional education but are mainly focused on a our favorite parts of Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and other play based educational philosophies. The option to be cross trained in our associate or leadership positions is available. As a shop associate, you'll be cross-trained in all aspects of the BusyKids experience - from greeting at the door, to working the floor, to operating a cash register, to facilitating events and keeping the shop and play space sparkling clean. Employees in our associate position will kindly check in guests, regularly organize and sanitize toys, make drinks, and thoroughly clean during the week. On the weekends employees will do the above duties or host parties. Pay is $16.90-$18/hour for team lead position, 20-30 hours available. Some shifts are more independent than others. Bonus programs and tips are available. You'll be given task checklists and outlines for all your duties, Training and organizational policies will be provided to ensure that you do your work in a way that is both safe, secure, and fun. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
- Passion for children and families a must!
- Must be able to prove authorization to work in the US with appropriate documentation.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs. with or without assistance and/or accommodations.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the workday.
- Ability to do cleaning with completely non-toxic EPA registered products.
