In this role, you will support early childhood development by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and fostering positive interactions that promote learning and growth. Duties Assist lead caregivers in supervising children during play, learning activities, meals, and rest times to ensure safety and engagement. Support the implementation of age-appropriate educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment by sanitizing toys, surfaces, and activity areas regularly. Observe children closely to monitor their well-being, report any concerns or incidents promptly to senior staff. Foster positive interactions among children by encouraging sharing, cooperation, and respectful communication. Help with meal preparation and feeding routines while adhering to dietary restrictions and hygiene standards. Support the overall operation of the childcare facility by assisting with administrative tasks as needed. Skills Passionate about working with young children and committed to their safety and development. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Ability to remain energetic, patient, and attentive in a dynamic environment. Basic knowledge of child development principles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines at all times. Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed.
