WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING
Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess the developmental needs of students. Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment. Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff. Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body. Serve and monitor meals Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, hand washing Supervise children during nap time Assisting with any duties as needed by the program, such as dishes, cleaning, and laundry
WHAT'S REQUIRED
Pass a background check Proof of Immunizations (MMR, TDaP) as required by Community Care Licensing Physical Exam as required by Community Care Licensing Negative TB test High school diploma or equivalency. AA in Early Childhood Education preferred. 12 ECE units OR minimum of 6 ECE units and currently enrolled in ECE courses Infant/Toddler ECE course (3 units or more) 1 year of teaching experience preferred but will train the right candidate Must be willing to change diapers and potty train Ability to stand up and sit on the ground for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
