We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing preschool teacher to join our teacher team. Our ideal teacher has a passion for working with young children, enjoys learning alongside them, and is excited to be part of a team. Must be comfortable and familiar working with children ages 2-5.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have at least 12 core units in Child Development 1 year experience in early childhood classroom Health screening, up to date immunization records, TB clearance Fingerprint clearance Experience with emergent curriculum, project based learning, and Reggio Emilia philosophy is preferred. Teacher's responsibilities include: Communicating with families and staff on a daily basis Daily Communication and Collaboration with Co-teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate and meaningful curriculum based on children's interests Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Documenting children's learning through photos, written observations, and reflections Position is full time M-F, approximately 35-40 hours per week. Starting pay dependent upon experience and education.
