Old Firehouse School is actively recruiting toddler and preschool teachers for the 2026-2027 school year at the Lafayette and Walnut Creek campuses. Our program is based on a solid foundation of scientific theory, research and professional practice. Our teaching staff are early childhood educators with degrees in early childhood education, human development or a closely related field. Each one has chosen early childhood education as their long-term career. We are proud of the extensive professional development opportunities we offer our teachers year-round, and are looking for educators who are eager to participate and continue to grow. Our full-time teachers receive fully paid dental, vision, and health insurance, generous holidays and paid time off (6+ weeks and all federal holidays), and competitive annual bonuses. Our ideal candidate for full time teacher holds or is obtaining a Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or has 18+ ECE units (including the CA required 12 early childhood education units) and 2 years' experience. Teachers should also have an interest in the Reggio Emilia approach.
