We are seeking a nurturing, responsible, and experienced Fully Qualified Teacher to lead and support the care and development of children in our licensed early childhood program. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors Observe and assess children's development and maintain individual portfolios Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding their child's progress and behavior Establish a nurturing, clean, and organized classroom environment Maintain daily attendance, accident reports, and other required documentation Collaborate with aides and assistants to manage the classroom effectively Attend staff meetings and training sessions Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports all children Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with preschool or daycare-aged children
  • Familiarity with childhood development principles
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred
  • Background in early childhood education or related field is a plus
  • Experience in nannying or working with students is beneficial 12 Post-Secondary Semester Units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or child development, including: At least 3 units in child development At least 3 units in child, family, and community (or child and family relations) At least 6 units in program/curriculum (such as curriculum planning, infant/toddler development, etc.
) At least six (6) months of work experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program ✅ High school diploma or GED ✅ Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification ✅ Background clearance (Live Scan), health screening, TB test, and immunizations (
