Lily of the Valley Early Education and Preschool is seeking a caring, energetic, and flexible Floater Teacher to support our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. This position is ideal for an early childhood educator who enjoys working with children of different ages and thrives in a collaborative team environment. As a Floater Teacher, you will assist classroom teachers, provide coverage during breaks, lunches, and absences, support daily routines, and help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can learn and grow. Responsibilities Support teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum. Supervise and engage children in classroom and outdoor learning environments. Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering, toileting, nap time, and transitions. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Provide coverage for classrooms during teacher breaks, meetings, and absences. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and center policies. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a minimum of 12 ECE units in Early Childhood Education. Must have 3 ECE units in Infant and Toddler Development . Must have at least 6 months of experience in a licensed preschool or childcare facility. Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, but not required. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Ability to work effectively with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Must obtain and maintain criminal background clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Child Abuse Central Index (CACI). Must provide a health screening with TB clearance completed within the past 12 months. Must have current immunizations for Pertussis, Dtap, Measles, and an annual Influenza vaccination. Current Mandated Reporter Training. Must be able to work from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. What We Offer Competitive pay of $21.00-$24.00 per hour based on education and experience.
