In this role, you will support daily activities, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, and assist lead teachers in fostering early childhood development. Duties Support classroom activities by engaging children in age-appropriate play, learning, and socialization Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards Monitor children closely to ensure their well-being and address their individual needs with patience and care Support teachers in implementing curriculum plans focused on childhood development and early education principles Participate in behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children Respond promptly to children's needs and communicate effectively with parents and team members as required Help cook ands provide nutrition meals and snacks clean daily used areas and items Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development milestones and age-specific caregiving techniques Experience with classroom management, behavior guidance, and creating engaging learning environments Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held Familiarity with special education practices or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining flexibility for on-call scheduling Bilingual is a plus This role is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to support early childhood growth while gaining valuable classroom experience.
