Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, promote social-emotional growth, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational years of children's learning journey while collaborating with dedicated staff and families to create a vibrant educational community. The ideal candidate is energetic, innovative, and committed to fostering a love of learning in preschool-aged children. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development principles such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports childhood development, behavior management, and child welfare. Lead daily classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth among preschoolers and toddlers. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs—including special education and early intervention—and foster strong home-school connections. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, discipline strategies, and documentation of student progress through standardized testing and assessments. Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare and classroom management practices. Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in daycare and private school settings. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare environments; prior classroom management experience is essential. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention strategies, behavior management techniques, and special education needs. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and Montessori principles. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in child welfare or tutoring is a plus. Ability to plan lessons effectively while adapting to diverse learning styles and developmental stages of children from toddlers to preschoolers. Passion for nurturing young minds through innovative teaching methods such as lesson planning tailored to individual needs and classroom experience that emphasizes child-centered learning. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children! We are dedicated to creating an energetic environment where educators can thrive while shaping the future generation's love for learning through engaging activities and compassionate guidance.
