Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Childcare Assistant and become an important part of creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. We provide care for for infant through school age In this role, you will be implementing educational activities, maintaining a clean and organized space, and fostering positive interactions with children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape memorable experiences in young learners. This position requires a background check, TB test, proof of immunization and Mandate reporter training. Early Childhood Education and CPR are not required right away but are extremely helpful . Duties Support lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining cleanliness of toys and learning areas Foster positive behavior by encouraging kindness, sharing, and cooperation among children Communicate effectively with children to support their emotional well-being and developmental needs Observe and document children's progress to inform ongoing educational planning Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to create a secure environment for every child Experience Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for working with children is essential Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and team members Ability to remain patient, energetic, and attentive throughout busy days Knowledge of basic child development principles is a plus Certification in CPR and first aid is advantageous; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held A proactive attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children's growth and learning Join us in making a lasting impact on young lives!
