Job Description
KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Moorpark learning center. In this role, you'll create a safe, nurturing classroom where young children learn through play and exploration. You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, closely supervise children, and support their social, emotional, and academic growth. You'll partner with families, maintain licensing and safety standards, and help shape a positive, engaging environment where every child can thrive and feel valued. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children. Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Assess and document children's developmental progress. Communicate regularly with families about child progress and center activities. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborate with center staff to support center goals and initiatives. Implement positive behavior guidance strategies. Participate in training and professional development. Prepare instructional materials and learning centers. Follow all licensing, regulatory, and organizational policies.
