Carrico Pediatric Therapy Inc provides occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy to children 0-18 years of age at 4 clinics across Southern California. We value the importance of providing support to our working mothers and have created a Clinic Nanny (equivalent to a Daycare Teacher) position to provide relief for our staff who have little ones. We are looking for someone who is loving, dependable, and friendly. If you have the passion to help children and LOVE working in a nurturing and supportive environment, this is the job for you. We do ask that you have at least 1 year of working with children in any capacity. We are looking for a reliable and responsible Clinic Nanny to provide childcare to our staff. Other duties may include providing support to our staff if there are no children that are attending daycare that day. The ideal candidate should love working with children of all ages and abilities. Ultimately, a successful Clinic Nanny should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our onsite Daycare. When no children are present in the daycare, the clinic nanny will be assigned to therapy aide duties. Childcare Provider (Clinic Nanny)
Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for babies and children
  • Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities
  • Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
  • Monitor and address children's behavior, promoting positive social interactions
  • Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about children's progress
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment Childcare Provider (Clinic Nanny)
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with students, such as nannying or babysitting
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
  • Strong caregiving skills, including the ability to meet the physical and emotional needs of children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
