About Us The Art Place Studio is a vibrant art studio dedicated to nurturing creativity in children. Our studio offers a fun, safe, and supportive environment for kids to express themselves creatively and explore their curiosity through the art making process. We provide fun and engaging after school art groups for grades TK-8th, summer camps, and a Saturday Kids' Night Out once a month during the school year. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, dynamic, patient, and passionate Creative Arts Facilitator to inspire and engage children through a variety of artistic activities. In this role, you will support and guide the children in our arts program through projects that foster self-expression, teamwork, and personal growth. You will assist with managing our creative space through activity prep, supply inventory, and ensuring that the studio stays clean and organized. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create an inclusive environment where children can explore their artistic talents while developing essential social and emotional skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives through the power of arts and creativity. This job is for our Summer Camp in July and the ideal candidate would join our team in our after-school art program, September-June.
Summer Camp:
July 20th-23rd and July 27th-30th. Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-3:30pm After School Program general hours: (May fluctuate when needed) Monday

- 12:00-5:15pm Wednesday
- 1:30-4:30pm Thursday
- 1:30-4:30pm
Key Responsibilities Support and Guidance:
Facilitate daily art projects and provide one-on-one help to children.
Activity Prep:
Prepare, distribute, and clean up art materials.
Studio Maintenance:
Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, including washing tables and surfaces, sweeping/vacuuming, and organizing supplies.
Safety and Engagement:
Ensure a safe, encouraging atmosphere for all children, helping to manage group dynamics and foster creativity. Requirements Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, school, camp, tutoring, or childcare environments. Strong knowledge of classroom management techniques along with experience in early childhood education or special education. Passion for the arts with the ability to lead diverse creative activities confidently. Reliable, patient, and highly organized. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time-management skills. Ability to work outside at times in the heat and cold. Ability to stay on your feet for extended periods, bend, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 40lbs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate children and collaborate effectively with team members. Reliable transportation to and from work. Must pass a background check.
